Come along to the edtech Summer Picnic!

It's been a while since we had a proper meetup. So why not come to London's Hyde Park for an afternoon of great company and the finest food and wines known to mankind?*

And don't forget to help spread the word!

Who?
Anyone working in eductional technology, or in formal or informal learning & interested in geeky stuff. This is an ideal day out for for learning technologists, IT people, teachers, librarians, cultural workers, researchers, or people interested in talking about how tech supports learning & learning communities. Relations, friends, loved ones and offspring are all welcome. And of course Edubloggers!

Where?
2pm: Hyde Park: Meet by the Serpentine Gallery (check(link backto forgoogle updates/rainymaps), dayor inside in the event of unclement weather. Nearest tube: Knightsbridge

by 2.30pm: Depending on the weather, we'll either be finding a good spot nearish the Serpentine or heading to the Science Museum, which is nearby and has an indoor picnic alternatives)area on the first floor: Exhibition Road, London, London, SW7 (link to google maps).

Not doing so well on the finding a family friendly pub nearby. The Lido Cafe & The Dell (both on park) serve booze so we can always head to one of those.

When?
2pm - later. There will probably be an early evening pub move. I'd be pretty amazed if there wasn't.
NB the 15th is the last day to check out the Telectroscope. It isn't that near to Hyde Park, but probably worth a visit if you can get into town earlier. I'm planning on visiting about 12.30 :)

What?
Bring food, drink, footballs, frisbees, blankets...

*You need to provide these yourself unfortunately
